Thiago Cruz is a Mechanical Engineer and Patent Specialist who joined Licks Attorneys’ Rio de Janeiro office in 2021 to work with intellectual property, mainly with prosecution of patent applications at the Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office (BRPTO). His IP expertise includes analyzing technical opinions issued by BRPTO and preparing briefs and responding them with his knowledge of the Brazilian Patent Statute, normative instructions, and examination guidelines.
