Paternalism, populism and irrationality in the crusade against cigarettes

Our attorneys at law Roberto Rodrigues and João Pedro Accioly co-authored the article “Paternalism, populism and irrationality in the crusade against cigarettes”, published by JOTA. They analyze a bill, under examination before the Brazilian Senate, that imposes tobacco plain packaging and prohibits any form of advertising and flavoring in these products.
