COVID-19 Firm Polices General Information

Licks Attorneys has adopted and enforced all the recommendations put forth by the World Health Organization (WHO) and Brazilian governmental health agencies in all our offices to help slow the spread of the virus. Our main priority has always been our team members, community, clients’ health, safety, and wellness.

We continue to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic situation, working with experts to ensure the proper precautions are adopted and maintained.

We designated the daily commute to the office non-essential travel and have instructed our members to work remotely.

We have a robust telework system in place at Licks Attorneys, enabled by the wide availability of all our systems hosted on Microsoft Azure and Amazon servers. All are fully operational and accessible to all our members, as part of our ISO 9000 business continuation plan. The telework system enjoys the same security level we employ at our offices, as part of our ISO 27000 guidelines.

We have been investing, training, and preparing our systems and staff for years, as part of our commitment to good practice and ISO standards to ensure service continuity. Working remotely – not just from home – is a feature of our core business model and operating capability. We will continue to have fully operational service teams available to meet all our customers’ needs. We were one of the first clients of the biggest videoconference platform in Brazil and one of the first to deploy Office365 SharePoint and Microsoft Teams for all of our members, among many other technologies.

We have the technological tools, internet bandwidth, and capability to serve our members and clients effectively. All our internal systems and files can be remotely accessed according to the same security measures operating within our offices.
